Tap along to the harmonious tunes of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call as you surge upward toward higher levels. It's the sequel to the original Final Fantasy game from Nintendo. This 3DS version includes 221 songs from the game's soundtrack and a fun collection of more than 60 playable characters. Begin your journey by choosing four of your favorite characters to assist you in slaying your enemies. Play a piece correctly, and you can earn valuable rewards that lead to enticing unlocks. The Quest Medley mode features songs of various lengths, including short, medium, long, and inherited. As your ear for music improves, you get to take on a new gang of villains. By playing the musical tunes correctly, you can silence the roar of Feral Chaos and eliminate the foul-smelling Great Malboro. Both single-player and multiplayer modes are available with this 3DS Final Fantasy game. As the second game in the Theatrhythm Final Fantasy series, Curtain Call had an initial release date of 2014 and was developed by Square Enix specifically for the 3DS. This rhythm sequel capitalizes on the Final Fantasy games released in the span between the first and second Theatrhythm by including new songs from Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV. One of the most popular modes in Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is the Versus Battle mode. This action-filled battle mode is specifically designed for multiple players, both online and offline. You can fight against a computer or other online opponents. Both gamers will play the same song. Whoever achieves the highest score wins. When earning points, an EX burst gauge will continue to build up over time. Once it reaches the top of the gauge, you will be able to attack and damage your opponent. This is what the gameplay consists of in this mode. When attacking, you will have the ability to use one of nine special attacks. Choosing the correct one at the right moment increases your chances of victory. When you battle against a computer in this mode, you start off facing bronze class opponents. Over time, you work your way through the silver, gold, and platinum classes, which become increasingly more challenging. During an online battle in Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, you can select any song you wish to play from the vast music selection. Trickier tracks add to the difficulty of the battle. Once you've finished in a battle, three Collectacards will be displayed. The winner is the first to choose a Collectacard, while the runner-up gets to select next. Each Collectacard raises your stats to make you a more formidable opponent. These Final Fantasy video games also come complete with a Quest Medleys mode. You journey across massive maps to collect useful loot and battle bosses. Completing maps will unlock new ones to try out. Crystal shards assist in unlocking characters. The quickest way to earn these shards is with the QM mode. Being able to select the length of the quest provides you with full control over your journey. |
